The Mission of the Edward W. Santos Community Service Award is to honor the legacy of Edward W. Santos, to celebrate individuals who give of themselves, their resources, and knowledge to make Plymouth better, and to inspire others to be good community servants.

The Annual Edward W. Santos Community Service Award shall be made to an individual that best exemplifies the standards set by and legacy of Edward W. Santos.
Nominees can be individuals that have served the Plymouth community in a variety of ways including service activities that are based in culture, youth, education, conservation, environment, patriotic, historic, humanitarian, or the arts.
Nominees shall be judged on their performance quality, including active participation and attendance on committees, satisfactory presentation and/or completion of service activities.
