The Edward W. Santos Community Service Garden Project
A physical installation will be the centerpiece of a proposed pocket park/garden. The pocket park will be situated in a prominent location in the Historic Downtown and Waterfront District, allowing residents and visitors alike to learn about Ed's service and each of the annual Award recipients. The park will be designed to allow people to sit and enjoy a moment's respite.
The park will encourage and inspire others to give of themselves, their knowledge, their time, and their resources to make Plymouth, or if a visitor, their hometown, a better place to live, work, and visit.
Information regarding local non-profits and community service opportunities will be readily available via a QR code as part of the installation.
Individuals, businesses, and organizations can contribute with a tax-deductible donation in several ways.
